I used this app all winter. It is best used in my opinion to alert me of snowfall when I am out of state so I know if Im going to be paying to get my driveway plowed. I find the details of exactly how many inches is not exactly accurate.

Yes, It was detailed on the amounts of snow over 72 hours. Its a good app!

While storm Sheild actually is a very useful app, this one unfortunately on just pure garage!!! Every time for two weeks that it has snowed out was suppose to snow, this app has been COMPLETELY wrong. It says its snowing when its clear. It says only a few inches then we get dumped on!!! Bottom line is that it is very inaccurate so dont waste your money!!!!!!!!!

This is a great app however, I would like to be able to do more with it. Such as smaller blocks of time, the option to do hourly forecast would be amazing, perhaps a link to local closings and delays. However you look at it as i said this app is a great thing, and has helped me to plan my weekly activities, smaller blocks of time would help more with the daily.

This app uses excessive battery even when you arent using it. It uses the GPS when the app is not even open or in the background. I tested this over the past few days by denying is access to use my location. Why dont you give us the option to only use location "while using"? Also, is predications are totally wrong most of the time.

Its okay. Not overly impressed since it was a paid for app. It is way too limited and only shows snowfall where you are. How about if you are going somewhere? It also will say its currently snowing and I look out window to nothing. Not worth the money

The app said 2.5 inches and thats exactly what I had at my house. Perfect.

Might be good for the plains but if you live in the mountains, youll be better off looking out the window. Says its snowing when it isnt and says its not when it is.

Would have liked smaller hourly Increments of time. Use this during baltimores recent blizzard.

Very buggy app, checking it multiple times often shows different values. Never trust what it says initially, click around and kill and restart it. Doesnt seem accurate it any way.

The app is accurate only about 1/2 of the time. I have had instances when earlier it show trace amounts of snowfall. Other times it will issue warnings as much as 48 in advance for less than 1 inch.

I used this app on a cross country driving trip and really came in handy. I like it even when I am not traveling!
